Damn, it's been a while since we last updated y'all! Your Boombox Family has been keepin' it movin' since our last post, for starters we opened up for MC Jin in early may for the 2011 Inspire Concert alongside the good homie Jaykin, Creative, Ezra and more! Shout outs to I Am Made Entertainment and the Enspire Foundation for putting on such an amazing event!
We just got back from an amazing week where we were in Toronto from Wednesday June 15 - Tuesday June 21, 2011 for the NXNE Festival and the MMVA afterpartys! We had an amazing show for the NXNE festival and are very grateful and blessed to have received so much love from everyone who attended our show! We were also blessed to attend a number of MMVA afterpartys but most notably the Universal Music Afterparty! Shouts out to Ivan & Mark for taking the utmost care of us during our stay in Toronto! We got reacquainted with the fellas from Far East Movement & got to chop it up with the likes of Kardinal, Down With Webster, Fefe Dobson, Dubbz, DJ Dopey, Karl Wolf, Reema Major, K'naan & Lights! Such an inspirational and motivated trip to say the least!
Last but not least, we finally have the 2nd Music Video installment off the "Bringin' The Boom Back: Based On A True Story" EP, "Gotta Let You Know" Produced by Ess and Directed by Mike Rodriguez, was released on Thursday June 16th and OFFICIALLY added to rotation on Muchmusic making it our 3rd video in 4 months to be added to the networks rotation! We are truly humbled and incredibly blessed and want to thank everyone who made the video possible! Our good friends from Queens, Rose Raflores, DJ Hustle, Emina Hot, Vicki Passmore, Samantha Manuntag, Stephanie Gee, DJ Relik, Ess, and of course the gifted and talented Mike Rodriguez!
